Sewer Line Water Damage

A homeowner in Venice, CA called SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch one month following a main sewer line ruptures in a condo. The rupture spilled sewage throughout the home, damaging hardwood flooring and drywall. Our team arrived on the scene and set up air scrubbers to begin neutralizing the odor and set up plastic containment. We relocated a wood cabinet in the living room and removed all affected baseboards and drywall. SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch removed the toilet in the bathroom and the hardwood floors throughout the space. We applied anti-microbial solution to all affected areas and covered the remaining floors. Once all materials were dry SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch removed the remaining equipment and the homeowner was thrilled to be able to move forward with repairs.
